Christmas Card - 2008

Greetings from the Coopers,

We’ve had another fun and exciting year. We were able to celebrate both Jason’s dad’s 60th birthday and my grandma’s (in Iowa) 90th birthday this summer - both with extended families.

Marleigh Grace was born March 28th…a healthy and happy baby. She is now crawling and getting into all the toys and crafts that Tanner and Bella leave around the house. She is an easy going baby and at 8 ½ months has learned to flirt, batting long lashes and flashing all four of her teeth at anyone looking. We are not sure if she will have curly hair like her sister, but time will tell.

Bella, while looking like she could be a princess, is about as far from that as they come. She is always tagging after Tanner and has no fear of any insect or animal. She has handed us both spiders and centipedes and is not only willing to play in the mud, she will crawl in and pour it on her head. She is a fun little gal who talks or sings 98% of her waking moments, and sometimes even talks in her sleep.

Tanner is growing faster than we can keep clothes on him. He was able to go on the now annual “Cooper-men fishing and camping trip” to Valentine, NE this year and had a blast. He caught a decent sized northern, which was the highlight of his trip. He also started Preschool at the church this year and loves it. He and his friend Braden love playing three times a week together as they are the only boys in the class of 10. Tanner doesn’t mind being outnumbered as he says “those girls are always fighting about a doll or something.”

Jason moved our dirt pile and built a much needed shed from scratch this fall. He is keeping busy with church stuff and small groups are finally in full swing. Right now we have 33 people training in model groups to be leaders in the coming year.

I keep busy with three kids and church activities, sometimes wondering where my sanity went, but am remembering to cherish these moments as they too will pass…

We pray that you have a blessed Christmas and New Year.

Love and God Bless,

Jason, Emily, Tanner, Bella & Marleigh
