This fourth of July was pretty busy for us. One of our friends invited us over for lunch, and then we had some friends over for supper. In the pictures, we were in the back yard shooting off party poppers.
The kids loved it. In the pictures of all the kids, they are arranged in order of age 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 years old.

Why is it that children can be so cute when they are in trouble? That makes it hard to actually discipline them, but we seem to manage. I don’t remember what she did, but it was pretty cute.

We were able to make it out to Colorado for a short vacation last month. June 15th was dad’s 60th birthday as well as Father’s day. You can see that the kids definitely had fun.

In these, Bella was just making sure to follow Norm Abram’s advice about wearing safety glasses. The other picture is from the Sunday after our baby dedication.
Emily made matching dresses for the girls for that day. They had all the families with new babies come to the front and stand in front of the congregation during the ceremony. When we did so, they put the video cameras on us and put us on the screen. Bella saw the picture and very loudly said, “there’s my mommy.” She then proceeded to wave at the camera. Cute as always.

A week or so ago we were able to spend some time back on the farm in Iowa. It was Emily’s Grandma’s 90th birthday celebration…she turned 90 earlier this month…so much of the family came back for an extended weekend.
Needless to say that between playing with each other, with the cousins, with the kittens, in the barn, on the golf cart, etc., everybody had a lot of fun.
